Simon Pettigrew is the frontman and main writer for the UK band GHOSTS, whose 2007 album of melodic pop songs, The World Is Outside, created waves from Europe to far flung places like New Zealand.

Now, he has ventured out on his own, producing new material that showcases the same melodic sensibilities with a slightly more electronic approach. ‘Never Too Late’ combines an 80’s electro beat with piano and arpeggiated synths, resolving into a chorus as hooky as anything the band have ever done, while ‘Say You’re Mine’ is a heartbreaking ballad that brings to mind Elbow produced by Timbaland.
